Room and property classification.
Define and document the rate structure which will include the following rate categories:
- International rack
- South African resident’s rate (also called domestic rate)
- Best available rate (BAR)
- 4 Day window period – 4DW (special rates four days in advance)
- Stay Tonight (same day, ‘walk-in’ rates for one night only)
- Member Rate (exclusively and confidentially to VNL Leisure Club members)
Determine monthly and annual revenue targets.
Document sales & marketing programmes to achieve targets.
Set up manual where appropriate.
Monitor dynamic rate management to ensure optimal revenue from all revenue sources.
Performance reviews and analytical evaluation.
Advise on standard collateral which includes the following:
Online and print advertisements
Film and Media
A dedicated reservation and call centre ensuring detailed and accurate reservations and follow up procedures.
